Dinky 751 Police Hut 42A Doctor Who Tardis Set of Six + Original Box 1950s/60s

Police Hut 42a by Dinky Toys was in service long before it took on a second role as Doctor Who's Tardis in 1963.

Dinky, then a division of Meccano Ltd, released their Police Box in around 1953.

Though sold in the 1950's strictly as a die-cast Police Hut, in the 60's the Dinky 'Tardis' became a favourite with Doctor Who fans and collectors.

This is for all six Police Hut's and original store box. Each Hut varies in condition, with varying paint loss (see pictures). The original box is in great condition for its age (see pictures).

Each Dinky Police Hut Tardis stands approximately 2.5 inch high and about 1 inch wide.
