1965 Plastoid BBC Doctor Who Menoptera Pin Badge

A very hard to find Doctor Who, BBC Menoptera, 1965 Plastoid Pin Badge. Produced in 1965 by Plastoid LTD Leicester, this badge was one of the first products produced for the classic TV series Doctor Who.

This badge is much harder to find than the normal Dalek badge which was produced at the same time.

The badge itself is in great condition for its age, with some gold paint loss (see pictures). The clasp on the back of the badge still works, but has discolored due to its age.

The size of this badge is about 5cm's wide and about 4cm's tall.
